Senior Lecturer and Group Leader in Thin Film Physics at Linköping University
Membership period 2011–2016
I am an experimental physicist and materials scientist specializing in thin film physics; I study and develop coatings for applications in electrical contacts, hard coatings such as tools, and in energy-related applications such as fuel cells and thermoelectric materials for waste heat recovery, as well as fundamental materials studies to understand the underlying physics. I coordinate and manage several research collaborations with industry.

“I am a member of the Young Academy of Sweden because it's an excellent forum for both science communication and policy, and provides a voice for younger researchers. But mostly because it is very rewarding for everyone involved.”
