Young Academy of Sweden welcomes The Young Korean Academy of Science and Technology (Y-KAST)
In July the Young Academy of Sweden welcomes the Young Academy of South Korea, Y-KAST to Stockholm for a one day meeting at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
At the meeting members will exchange experiences, present their research and explore opportnities for future joint projects.
Y-Kast is the latest Young Academy, formed in 2017. The aim of Korea’s next generation science and technology academy is to form international networks through exchanges with foreign academies and foreign outstanding scientists and to share knowledge among young scientists in various fields to promote interdisciplinary communication; in order to strengthen Korea’s research capacity. The term of office in Y-Kast is 3 years.
