Position statement 2016: Interim evaluation of Horizon 2020

The objective of the consultation is to collect information from a wide audience on different aspects of Horizon 2020 implementation. Contributions are particularly sought from researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators and all types of organisations that have participated in Horizon 2020.

The Young Academy of Sweden emphasizes e.g. the importance of continued support for basic research and the European Research Council (ERC), a clear and harmonised research tenure track system in Europe, and, a sustainable and transparent implementation of Open Access and Open Data.

Horizon 2020 is a funding programme created by the European Union/European Commission to support and foster research in the European Research Area (ERA).
